AnkiMobile Flashcards App Recensioni

ottima applicazione, continua a migliorare

Horribly Overpriced

Making this app free on every platform BUT this one is just a disgusting move. Paying $27 for this was like getting financially pegged.

TOO Complicated

My Iphone App cards don’t match the web and so I have done all those work and the cards do not flip to the back. Can’t find support.

No login required?! 5 stars

I love it. I am so appreciative of not having to make an account or subscription to learn.

I feel duped

I used Anki on my Mac before purchasing the AnkiMobile to be sure that I liked it before purchasing. The Anki on the computer is exceptional, but the Mobile is not at all the same. It’s incredibly disappointing and not in the least bit usable for what I need. It’s not bad enough that Anki doesn’t charge for Android but does for iOS but then the tool is completely different on iOS. It’s useless. I can’t find anywhere to get a refund either.

The original and best

I have used this app since 2012 learning Chinese and now other languages. It has been irreplaceable in my language studies.

Pictures not loading

I uploaded pictures for cloze flashcards to ankiweb and can see them on my other laptop but not in this app! It says the image is missing. Please help

It’s just too expensive

Almost all of us are college students or even worst medical students.. please have mercy

not intuitive

no instructions, no trial , they ask you to pay without knowing what your going to get. No instructions on how to setup anything!

Meh

Yes, it is the original creator of the flash card hit, but it’s difficult to use, unchanged, and very outdated. Honestly imo the competitors of similar names that require a monthly or yearly subscription are more user friendly and updated. Just my opinion.

Good app but needs better interface

The app is good but changing the settings in the IOS version is not easy.

Anki > Duolingo

There really isn’t an app like it anywhere. This is quite literally an app unmatched by even the most prominent language learning apps such as Duolingo, which comes with too many bells and whistles, and constantly puts features behind paywalls, including the ad-free experience. I use this app for other learning as well, including studying for certification exams. I’m definitely never going back to any other way of learning.

This is the “real” one

Took me some research to find that this is the web compatible one. $25 once and you’re done

Worst app ever

I feel scammed. Terrible product. Shouldn’t be allowed on the App Store

$20+ for an incomplete product

For $20+ you would expect it would have all the features of the desktop version and it doesn’t. Seems stingy to not fully develop your app and still charge this much.

Happy to support the official Anki and it works great

Works reall well and synchronises with the desktop version

Deleted the app and they still charged me.

Canceled the subscription and deleted the app. They still charge me $25.

Not syncing

Not sure what happened. But I have synced my accounts before and now I can’t. I actually almost lost all my notecards I just made but thankfully I found them in the backup. What was the point of paying for this app if I can’t even sync. I really wish I could get some customer support.

Cannot imagine better one

One of my weapons to learn anything

Way too overpriced

I understand wanting to put a price on a mobile version just so that some money is being generated but 25 dollars is way too steep of a convenience fee. It drove me away from my language learning goals until I had the fortune of someone buying it for me. The app is equivalent to the free desktop version but for everyday review on mobile I would just use a web browser.

Frustrated with consistently lagging features compared to desktop

If you are thinking about buying this just do it. Anki is the best way to study and this is the best way to use anki on ios. You should buy the app and dive in. You will get way more value than the cost .. To the devs: I’ve hesitated to write this review for years because I don’t want to be negative in such a positive community (Anki) but it is very frustrating that this app lags so far behind the desktop and android versions. Not being able to search for a deck when adding notes like on desktop & not populating the currently selected deck when adding a new deck are the lagging quality of life features that propted me to finally write this. I don’t understand the lag. You chose a closed development approach. You can see changes coming a mile away in GitHub. You have the power to keep up. You seem to have chosen a position with all of the advantages here and you’re failing to keep up much less innovate. Explaining this app’s expense and inconsistency is one of the major blockers to getting ios folks into the Anki ecosystem. It’s a hard sell when the version that charges a relatively massive premium is a product with laggy features

Perfect flashcard app

I use the free version on my computer to study Chinese Hanzi and build decks for my phone to study various languages on the go. Perfect sync between pc and mobile, and super easy to use. Worth the money if you are serious about learning through flashcards.

For $26 i expect better.

Anki is free everywhere else, and the creator says that the iOS version is what allows them to keep it free everywhere, so i would expect iOS to be the most up to date version, but it rarely is. I would expect it to at least have all the functionality that the online version does. You cant even add decks from here. There are also constant syncing issues, where changes i make on mobile dont get saved. I am now redoing an hours worth of work because all my changes didn’t get properly saved. This happens aaall the time.

Anki fan forever

This app is amazing, beautiful and perfect, I can not ask for more, thank you Anki team and Anki creator for made this amazing app. I am learning English, so I hope so and you understand my feedback.❤️

Best flash card app

The goat app in memory flash cards 🐐

Pretty terrible

There are far more user friendly apps out there.

Images don’t load

Not all the images load when using the decks like the desktop version. Great desktop app but poor mobile glitchy app

Good if You're Willing to Learn How to Use

I spent some time watching YouTube and reading their info page. I feel the cards I'm making and using are much better than another program I was using. The best part is how customizable it is. It can be a little intimidating, but just use the features you like and leave things you don't understand alone.

its not good. Poor design

The people who made and contributed to the app are really poor coders and not able optimize their product. For example, simple qol stuff like mapping a 8bitdo to anki mobile becomes and ordeal because you cant just customize which button to map 1 to 1 with next card or good etc. Anki is full of these problems but it goes to the end of the earth to code unnecessary organization/ buttons etc.

The app interface

Hello, I’ve owned the app for long time now. Surely, Anki’s original app still has its reputation as the original app for anki method, despite all the other new apps that copied its method of spaced repetition. However, I can’t deny that almost all the other new apps have a nice modern interface that’s attractive and can make studying a joy. Sadly, I can’t say the same for this app as the design is too simple and it’s really hard to use this app for someone who has gotten used to sophisticated designs almost in every other app. Your app is great and if you could make an app that’s this famous and efficient, I don’t think that fixing the interface would be much of an issue. Really , I’ve been waiting for years but the design is still the same. Consider my comment please. Thank you

100% worth the price

If you already use Anki on desktop consistently, then this is 100% worth the price. You can crank out the reviews anywhere: on the bus, in the car (not driving), waiting in lines. Instead of pulling out your phone to scroll social media, replace it with review cards!

Bad UX

I’m happy to support the developer of Anki but the mobile app has very bad UX so I might just end up using the web app in safari.

Use it every day. One problem

I use it to learn Japanese. Please add a dark mode for the app icon though!

Incredible value for the price

Incredible value for the price

OG. price is worth it

20 bucks for pocket anki is worth it. This is the only way the developer makes money. No add ons. No monthly subscriptions. No pop ups. No gimmicks. Seamlessly connected to desktop FREE version. Easy simple and effective. Multiple add ons. Can’t go wrong.

Worth app.

Good app for education $25 not expensive for this app why I say that cause $$25 you can get an update from the author for life time and the author have to spend money to keep your data on the website. Best invest app for my education. Wish the author and his team still keep going moẻ complete for the Anki.

ANKI ❤️‍🔥u

THANKU! U saved my life a bunch of times in UNI And now with deep language study curiosity

Good app for remembering things for the exam.

It helps a lot with memorizing. Remember to take breaks. Otherwise you may experience headaches.

Won’t show answer

I just bought this app for $24 and the answers won’t even show up when I reveal the card. It’s one I downloaded online so maybe that’s the problem? Even so it worked the first time now it isnt.

This is real app, don’t get a knock off.

I’ve spent more than 1000 hours using anki. I’ve memorized a ton of Spanish vocab, US history, maps, basically anything I truly want to retain I put in here and know that eventually I’ll lock it into my memory.

recommendation

- should make MCQs in the mobile app

Kinda annoying

I got the iOS version of the app with the expectation that it would convert a pdf into flashcards. I was very disappointed that the app did not let you import files into the app. When that was the sole reason why I got the app. I tried to get the computer version but I have a chrome book so for me it downloaded but it did not want to open. A part of me wants a refund but not sure how that would work. Just be careful with that when it comes to app.

buggy, prefer free version on android

1. Often looping between two cards when there are more than 10+ learning cards. 2. Often cannot rotate screen on iPad. 3. Please stop pop more new card and old cards while there are more than 40 learning cards 4. FSR is slightly worse than not enabled 5.sometimes anki shows No cards today but I haven’t learned any cards today, statics shows that there are 100+ cards expiring. Raise reviews card count doesn’t work.

THE official Anki app

Don’t fall for the other imitators like I did and pay way more than the price of this app because this is the original and most supported version. The UI isn’t as fancy as the other apps but it’s fast, intuitive and works perfectly with Anki cards because this is THE original app that is supported by the community.

Very nice, very good app 👍

Really cool app so far! I’m using it to learn different languages at the moment. I love how you can easily edit the cards in the deck on the app, allowing me to add audio directly into a card.

AnkiWeb is AMAZING.

I bought this app to support Anki, but after using it, I hardly ever use the desktop version anymore. I use the built in drawing pad for learning to write Kanji, and syncing the hundreds of megabytes of media I have between my computer and iPad is made simple. You can even install a custom stroke order font for learning how to write each character properly. Thanks to Anki, I've learned 1000 kanji in about 3 months. I can't recommend this app enough.

If you want powerful software here you go

I don’t have time to write an extensive review because I wasted a ton of time with “Anki Pro” which has nothing to do with the original and best in class Anki Flashcard app. So now I am behind in my studies. Anyway, there is no more powerful, customizable and useful flashcard app in existence, period. This is the one. Is it flashy and pretty? No. But, if that’s really what you want, you and I don’t have much in common and my recommendations wouldn’t mean much to you anyway. YOU CAN RECORD AUDIO DIRECTLY INTO THESE CARDS unlike Anki Pro, which again, has nothing to do with this app. And the computer & web based versions are totally free. If you want to learn, and you want to support real developers that don’t play games (like using another product’s name) but instead diligently create and maintain free open source software, buy this app to support them and avoid Anki Pro.

The best app for learning!

Thanks to this app I’ve remembered lots lots lots of information

Difficult and buggy

1. Cannot record sounds from other apps if you do either the recording is empty or it reports errors about IO exception 2. While adding a new note and type into texts using Apple Pencil , the dialog does not response anymore so I cannot save this new note and all contents will lost. This issue is why I’m writing this review and give a low star, because I have to spend more time to readd the note and write this review. (This is probably a bug of Apple system itself) 3.tap once in the input box, it’s too slow to display the toolbar. And sometimes it does not work at all. I have to tap another input box first 4. Select text in the input box while editing a Note does not work very well. Double tapping a text to select doesn’t work at all, and long tapping to select is so difficult to use, sometimes I have to tap another input box, then tap back again, hopping I can now select the text; sometimes I tried several times but I can’t select the text so I have to give up to use other means to do the job.
