Works great. Love the update, including big buttons and visible due counts. Update: latest update adds clean visual look. I think I prefer this and great to see it being developed.

Crashes every time. Needs a hotfix pronto. Also, why cant the app auto-sync? Howd the developer come to the decision to make us manually sync every time? I want iCloud-esque behavior. Im tired of having to think about syncing either on the phone or Mac. When I finish a card, sync! Or at the very least when I complete a full review. Besides those two gripes, worth the money. Anki truly helps me lock in the concepts, vocabulary, etc I study. Would give it a 5 star if it didnt crash and sync was more elegant.

This flash card is the best, passed third year Greek. Honestly spaced interval training is incredible and anti lets you adapt it to virtually anything.

This is a far more flexible app than Memrise or similar: you can fix your cards, or add and delete them right from the app itself, so it is right there when you come across a new word or concept. In addition, card setup is highly customisable, albeit perhaps tricky if you dont know CSS/HTML. It may seem expensive, but it is highly worthwhile in my opinion.

With the current update and bug fixes, this app is pretty much perfect. Its a perfect (and necessary) companion to the desktop app, and very much worth it. Cant imagine studying without it.

When pressing "done" after selecting options for custom study, the app crashes.

Ive used Anki for nearly a year and after the new update the audio in my cards no longer automatically plays (even though I went to settings to make sure it is supposed to). This is really annoying as I have to tap every single audio bubble that comes up to play audio and it wastes time when doing my anki reps. Wish this could be fixed soon.

I really must admit I abandoned the app due to the lack of updates. But seeing that Anki is far from being dead, I am back once more. The updates are beyond impressive! Cannot wait to get back on track. :)

I would gladly pay twice the price for this. Its by far the best flashcard program and worth every penny.

Well worth the cost of you know what Anki is and have built up and rely on practicing your decks regularly. The updates are wonderful! For those writing Chinese characters, the sketch pad on the 3D Touch display feels too good. Thanks to the developer for making this.

I admit its been a while since I researched other flashcards apps in the App Store. But last time I looked there was nothing even close to AnkiMobile. It seems the goal of the developer is to give you the best environment for learning and retaining things as opposed to a "bells and whistles" approach some others seem to take. I have 70,000+ cards in my deck and AnkiMobile sorts through that huge sea and and brings up the relevant cards according to its spaced repetition algorithm with lightning quickness. Its amazing!

This Anki app is perfect for anyone who wants to study without being tied to their computer! Anki has changed the way I learn! I use it every day and would gladly spend much more than the cost of this app to keep Anki in my study routine. The interface is very easy to use, and the functionality rivals the desktop application. Syncing with Anki cloud is very easy and works well. The app is very stable. Definitely worth the $25 for the ability to study from anywhere at any time!

The flashcard memory retention algorithm is great. Everything else...is not. - There are seemingly thousands of settings spread across 7 menus, some of them nesting 3 or 4 deep, making it impossible to actually find settings. Sane defaults arent even embraced...auto correcting text fields should be on by default, not a buried setting. - The user interface is not intuitive at all. Some list views use slide-to-delete while others do not. I have still yet to find a way to get a list of all cards that doesnt require searching for "deck:current".

Ive read many sites and blogs recommending this app and program, espousing the effectiveness of SRS etc. It was the most Ive ever paid for an app by a long way so I tried really hard to make good use of it despite the primitive design. I can now say confidently the price is totally unjustified. One needs a minor in computer science to work between the desktop program and web program in order to import lists to the app. What??? Quizlet is a beautiful app, totally user friendly, has an easy to access library of terms and....wait for it...totally free (despite being worth good money). I feel so silly for believing those shameless promotions.

I have used Anki faithfully for several years now. The algorithm is almost magical in the way it ensures that information is learned. But recently the audio does not playback automatically, it has become so frustrating that I have resorted to studying on my computer again. Ugh! All of this just to lower the background sound??? I dont even listen to music while I study. Please fix that bug!

This app is worth it Like others I was disappointed that the sounds didnt seem to play automatically anymore with the recent update. However, I discovered that by turning off the "silence" switch on my iPhone they do play.

A bit of a learning curve. However there is no flashcard app with such versatility.
